Nokia cries over leaks

Now here’s something you don’t see every day: a manufacturer openly complaining about its own product leaks on their corporate blog…

I can sympathize with their views. re: Engadget — You aren't inherently entitled to leaked information just because its available. I understand that your core business practice is to publish gadget info, but the whole…

Apple to launch iChat for Windows along side iPhone 2? WTF!?

Theres a lot of discussion saying that the photos of the iPhone 2 are fake. Some say the part about a Windows requirement is proof. But look again: Its talking about iChat, and says Now available for iPhone ' and Windows.? Does this mean Apple is going to launch iChat for Windows like it did Safari?

If anything, I would say the more likely scenario is that someone with knowledge of the new iPhone (but never having actually seen it), decided to create this “leak” for the purpose of disseminating the information…

Is Pownce Developing An MP3 Player?

Daniel Burka, co-founder and head designer for Pownce, has generated some buzz by posting a screenshot teaser of an upcoming release.

iPhone SDK Beta 2 Now Available

Potential iPhone developers should go and grab the latest release of the SDK, beta 2, and revel in the new Interface Builder. Make your own fancy UIs for your iPhone game, or maybe just make an improved iFartz. We’re cool with either.

Well, there really isn't anything stopping you from overloading that little method that would allow a background process, but your app would likely never be approved for the store. People are also kidding themselves for buying into no apps…

Toshiba gearing up to drop HD DVD?

We’re not exactly sure what’s going on in Toshiba land, but shortly after not-exactly-believable whispers made the rounds of the firm suddenly deciding to try its hand at making a Blu-ray player, we’re now seeing reports stating that it will pull the plug on its beloved format “in the coming weeks.”

Truth Teller, you are incorrect in your statement that thay are using the quote from after the Netflix/Best Buy deal to hint at the current rumors being accurate (I know with so many things going bad these Press Releases can run…
