The artist has made old photos and turned them into 3D using gif animation trickery. These are photos from the NY Public Library. The artist says there will be more. They are absolutetly phenomenal to look at. Oddly enough, the first picture is probably the worst. My favorite is the third photo down of the buffalo.

i’m breathing new life into the past using old digitized photographs from the new york public library. i’ve spent hours rekindling these moments. & they will not be the last.
