A Mass Collection Of iPhone 3G Cases

Don’t waste your time doing research. Here are all the iPhone 3G Cases announced or released by major manufacturers together on one page.

However, the fit might be not as snug due to the slightly curved back on the 3G. Also note that these cases haven't actually been released and reviewed by the heavy hand of the public, so we can't recommend any specific cases just yet.

Which Linux Distributions Are Dying?

Like everything else, what goes up must come down. This must apply to Linux distributions too, right? So, whats happening with Linux? Which distributions are growing?

I just read Louis Gray’s post titled “On the Web, If You’re Not Growing, You’re Dying.” It gave me a chilling realization about web services. Like everything else, what goes up must come down. This…

Update: Digg Recommendation Engine Confirmed For This Week

Digg has released some materials around their new Recommendation Engine, which we wrote about last night, and say that it will be released this week. Two overview videos are below, including an interview with Digg Lead Scientist Anton Kast. Weve also included the text of a white paper on the Recommendation Engine.

Digg is only analysing the 2D ranking user data (ie, a matrix of user-by-story ranking weights) but ignoring the content. If they want to analyse the content & rank at once, then they should use a 3D algorithm such as…

[Linux] 2.6.26: almost there

Look for more change once the 2.6.27 merge window opens. Ill be cleaning out a bunch of older stuff then as well.

I added a few entries to the pages while I was there. HP donated AdvFS, which is a welcome body of code even if it will never be shipped in the mainline kernel in anything close to its current form. The GEM memory manager is interesting: it looks…
