wearable computer systems: RallyPoint Handwear Computer

Some U.S. soldiers in Iraq are already equipped with wearable computer systems. But the lack of efficient input devices restricts their use to safer environments, such as the interior of a Humvee or a base station, where the soldier can set down his weapon and use the keyboard or mouse tethered to his body. Now RallyPoint, a startup based in Cambri

A typical wearable computer system consists of a helmet-mounted display and hardware the soldier wears around his waist. RallyPoint's engineers have designed their glove so that soldiers can grip other objects, such as their weapons or a…

Massive Attack: Half A Million Microsoft-Powered Sites Hit With SQL Injection

A new SQL injection attack aimed at Microsoft IIS web servers has hit some 500,000 websites, including the United Nations, UK Government sites and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. While the attack is not necessarily Microsoft's fault, it is unique to the company's IIS server.

The NoScript add-in for Firefox isn't going to help you if you've added a compromised site to your trusted list. Thats teh point of this attack - it compromised trusted sites to in turn install malicious software on an end…

Awesome Redesigned Gmail Look (Firefox Only)

Google’s design team is either incredibly lazy or extremely concerned with making sure old people, and people still using Netscape can check their email. To be frank - it’s ugly and looks very outdated. Using the Firefox plugin “Stylish”, you can change the way your Gmail looks into this slick theme.

This is a difficult site to remaster. I think what you've done so far is very thorough and internally cohesive. I also like that your color modifications haven't created the same ugly effect around the "stars" like many…
